Since 1976, William J. Kirmes, D.O., has been serving patients in Maine and New Hampshire, in the forms of Emergency Medicine, Family Practice and Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation. He has been an active member of many Osteopathic organizations in New Hampshire and throughout the United States. He has been an active participant with his alma mater, ATSU, formerly the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Missouri, as well as the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Maine, to ensure the future of Osteopathic education. In 2006 he received the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine's "Pioneer of Osteopathic Medicine" award— the highest award given by the University.
Dr. Kirmes began his practice in Manchester, NH, in 1979, taking over the practice of Jack Parfitt, D.O.
Dr. Kirmes served as the President of the Manchester Kiwanis Club from 2013 to 2014.
